.jpg) Termoli is an important touristic city (population: 31526), in the province of Campobasso. On it's cape is settled the ancient suburb, sorrounded by the historical wall. The suburb is still now the "engine" of the city, with its particular structure (divided from the rest of the city by the wall and the castle)
Geogafy The city leans out on the Adriatic Sea. The city is situated in the zone of the coast hill, figures in the climatic zone C and it is classified to low seismic risk. Geographically it is placed among the river Biferno (to south) and the stream Sinarca (to north); the historical part of the city developed on the small cape in front of the sea. The climate of the city is the Mediterranean one, with the presence of typical plants of this climate, like palms. Winds are present all along the year; during the summer period the temperature however is mitigated from marine breezes |
